Mr. Md. Zahidul Azad joined Barisal district as the 11th Chief Judicial Magistrate on 30 November 2025. He is a member of the 4th batch of B. J. S. During his educational career, he obtained LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M degrees from Rajshahi University. During his professional career, he has served as Assistant Judge, Judicial Magistrate, Senior Judicial Magistrate, Land Survey Tribunal and Joint District Judge in Rajbari, Jhenaidah, Bagerhat, Narail, Satkhira and Barisal. He has completed Basic Training Course, Refresher Course, Survey and Settlement Training, Military Orientation Training and participated in several seminars from the Judicial Administrative Training Institution and other department or organisaion. He has also completed special training courses from the National Judicial Academy of India in Bhopal and Delhi Judicial Academy in India.
